FAQ's
Q: How is this different from regular whey protein?
A: Ours is true, raw, fermented whey—not an isolate or concentrate. It’s loaded with minerals, living enzymes, and bioactive compounds, not just protein. It’s food, not a supplement. And don't let the lower amount of amino acids than in a chemically fractionated protein powder fool you. Because of the epic and massive bioavailability and true vibration of this whey, the protein punches way above it's weight class.
Q: Is it safe for people with lactose intolerance or other dairy intolerances?
A: Many with a lactose intolerance can tolerate our dairy products well, but if you're lactose intolerant we recommend you start slow. Trouble with dairy is usually due to a lactose intolerance, or an immune reaction to the A1 protein or high somatic cell count (ie., puss) found in grocery store milk. The long fermentation in our whey reduces lactose and creates gentler sugars and acids. Our raw, A2 dairy solves all these issues, which puts most people on the path from a dairy-free life to milktopia.
Q: Why does it taste tangy or slightly sour?
A: That’s the lactic acid and live cultures—signs of real fermentation and living nutrition. It’s a mark of authenticity! (And a secret handshake for your taste buds.)
Q: Can I use it in hot drinks?
A: For maximum benefits, keep liquids below 140°F to preserve living enzymes and probiotics. (If your drink is hot enough to melt steel, it’s too hot for this whey.) Hot beverages won't denature the protein, but it will destroy the living micronutrition, enzymes, and living cofactors.
Q: How do I store it?
A: Reseal the bag and keep it cool and dry. It’ll stay fresh for months. (If you can resist finishing it sooner.) There's no need for refrigeration, but it will last longer if you do.
Q: Is this suitable for children?
A: Absolutely! Adjust the dose (1–2 teaspoons) and mix into milk, kefir, or smoothies. (Bonus: it’s a stealthy way to sneak in nutrition.)
Q: What if I want more protein?
A: This is a mineral and peptide-rich food, not a protein isolate. If you're looking for more aminos, check out our pemmican, or our steaks and meats! But if you're just looking for a dose of pure amino acids, you'll need a commercially produced supplement (and you won't find that here).
